Afro Fusion YXE is committed to preserving the African culture in Saskatoon and its environs through dance. We regularly organize Afro-dance classes, shows, parties and other entertainment for both people of African descent and others who are interested in the African culture.
Join us for a 6-week afro recreational dance class to get your groove on, get the sweat out, get your heart pumping and learn new afro dance steps at this medium-intensity dance exercise class that promises to be fun.
This is suitable for people of African descent who want to join a lively community of other Africans for dance exercises; as well as people of other cultures who are interested in learning a few African dance steps. Next Dance Classes
Start Date: March 4 - April 10
Time: Mondays or Wednesdays*, 7:30 - 8:30 pm
Venue: Briarwood Recreational Centre, 602 Briarwood Road, Saskatoon
*** On the registration page, you can choose either Monday or Wednesday classes. You cannot come for both classes unless you register for a bundled class. See the bundle description below. Some of the Wednesday classes will be held on Fridays.***
Regular Session
A full session is a one-hour weekly dance class for six weeks. We have two full sessions. Monday session is every Monday from 7:30 to 8:30 pm for six weeks.
Wednesday session is every Wednesday; however, we'll move some of the Wednesday classes to Fridays from 7:30-8:30 pm.
If you register for a particular session, please stick with it, as we may not have room to accommodate non-registered people for other sessions and you will be required to pay $25 drop-in fees when you come for a class you're not registered for.

Bundled Session
This is when you register for two regular sessions per week for six weeks. For example, when you register for Monday and Wednesday classes for six weeks.
